For the last six months I've been getting my periods generally around the 10 & 28. I have no cramping and its usually light and sometimes moderate. I get from people that its a bad thing and I possibly can not have kids!.. Is this a fact, if so can anything help me get back to having regular periods?? Please be more than welcome with any opinions and advice. Thank you in advance.

Every woman has different cycle, and although you seem to have shorter one than most. You say that it’s like this for the last six months, how long was the time before two periods before that? And how old are you? It would probably be wise for you to go and check what is happening with your gynecologist, it all can be normal, but it can also mean that something other than regular causes (like stress, unusual events, weight change, etc.) is disturbing levels of your sex hormones which can be responsible for all sorts of problems like changes in the menstrual cycle, skin changes, small cysts in the ovaries, trouble getting pregnant and other problems. If you figure out what’s going on in time there are good chances that everything be fine with your fertility.

This sounds like a good plan to see a gynecologist.. I was reading elsewhere and it also said the same thing to see one. It also said the cause can also be anemia and get a blood work done. My periods where moderate before BC pills then when I stopped they were light. Which was a yr before all of this happened.I mean it doesn't bother me that I get it twice a month I was just afraid in the long run because my bf told me he will not marry me if I cannot have kids ( in the future ).. :-( .. thank you for answering my question I appreciate it. Btw I'm 19?

Better to check it out and then you don’t have to think about it again. I mean, it could be perfectly normal, there still is 18 days before two periods. I asked for your age because this all can be different for different women. Why you went off of pill? I don’t think they are cause of this, it’s been a year since you stopped taking them. But maybe you will have to start taking the pill again, they are used also as a hormonal treatment for control of the menstruation cycle. But really, there is hardly any woman who had her period every time on time, and they had babies and everything was ok, just don’t let others to get on your nerves too much
