Well my girlfriend and I went to get her 2nd level ultrasound today. Everything was fine except that they said that there was 2 soft spots One was a calcium spot on the heart and another soft spot on the back of the neck, the doctor recommended that we spoke with a Gene Counselor. She didnt recommend the test but basically showed us the option. She said that she was at higher risk having a baby with down syndrome. Now we are very nervous and awaiting on results. The doctor also stated that the calcium spot on the heart showed up on normal babies as well. I am very un-easy now and was just wondering if anyone knew or is in the same situation and came up with everything fine. I dont like statistics and would feel a little at ease if anyone could help me out.

Well just to let everyone know, that we have some of the results from the Ammniocentisis test. I guess there is no sign of down syndrome which is a good sign. This is our first child together and cant wait. Good luck everyone
