In the last 6 day, I started experiencing ED. I am only 20, Im so depressed right now because this has never happen to me i tryed today to get an erection and my penis feels like it is retracting (shortening) all the time, and it also feels cold to the touch (especially the head), and I have much less feeling in it than I used to. The major lifestyle issues i can think of that may effect it are I drink a lot of drinks like sprite mostly i stoped that been drinkin loads of water I don't get enough sleep, I am under a lot of stress from college full time, and I went through a couple of ex girlfriends i been to the ER all week because it burns when i urinate and diarrhea they tested my urine no sign of urinary track infection doctor put me on phenazopyridine and sent another sample for STD testing but i haven't had sex in 10 months think i would have notice by now im so frustrated im about to just stop takin those pills they really serve no purpose i really wish it was something i could do i have been cryin because im so young i haven't really started my life yet for this to be happening to me i though maybe i broke something from masturbating too much doctor check that everything fine i just dont know at this point will i be permanently damaged i know its only been a week but seems like a life time i have been reading other post and there sayin not even pills are workin i havent tryed that yet i get the STD test monday hope all thats clear seems like my life going down the drain

Hi there! I completely understand your concern but you shouldn't be that worried. By worrying you'll only make it worse. The good thing is that you are aware of the major lifestyle issues and I believe you're conscientious enough to deal with them. I found a list of possible causes for erectile dysfunction: Drugs (anti-depressants (SSRIs) and nicotine, Neurogenic Disorders, Cavernosal Disorders, Psychological causes, Surgery, ageing, kidney failure, Lifestyle: Smoking is a key cause of erectile dysfunction. In your case most of these causes are excluded, your doctor already told you there's nothing wrong with you. Don't stop taking phenazopyridine because it will help you alleviate the pain, irritation, discomfort caused by urinary tract infections. Just try to relax, do something you really like, talk to a friend...stress is one ugly thing that can really ruin your life if you're no dealing with it. I hope this will help you and you'll get better soon.
