Can someone help me? I am 42 and just recently started having extremely heaving periods. This is kinda gross but I have been passing huge clots as well. This has been going on for a month now and then it stopped for about a week and now has came back again. This has been such a horrible experience and I have no insurance being a single mother with 2 kids. Any ideas on how long this may last or if anyone has ever been thru an experience like this would be greatly appreciated. I have had all the signs of menopause but alot of people tell me I am too young. I am 42. I'm at a loss this has pretty much taken over my entire life. I can't have any fun for fear of having accidents out in public. I am depressed all the time because it just won't go away. Anything you can advise will be appreicated. Thank you so much

My mother has been having the same problem when her menopause started, although she didn’t talk about it as much at the time because she didn’t won’t to worry us with her problems. Only a year later she confessed that at the time she thought its some serious illness, until she visited her gynecologist who of course knew what was going on and immediately started with hormonal treatment. What do you mean by accidents in public? Period related accidents, or is it related to mood swings or any kind of uncommon sensations? What you going trough is normal, but we are all different people and we react differently, but there are ways to ease these symptoms, you only have to get a proper help - then there will be a chance for it will go away.
