Hi I'm a 15 year old female. I've had my period for 12 days so far. It's really thick looking and it just doesn't seem normal. About 3 days after my period started I got a really really sharp pain in my lower left side. The doctors at the ER didn't find any obvious reasons for it so they just sent me home with a pain medication. I've recently started Gianvi, a generic version of Yaz, and I don't know if that's the reason for the bleeding, but I'm also wondering about the pain. Any answers? Is this normal?
