Hey, I have the same symptoms as you, I'm 19, just wondering if you got better or had to see a doctor?

I had similar problem. Did not go for medication or operation by choice. Decided to go to physiotherapist. That helped. Also did Yoga. Now completely out of pain for more than 3 years.

Commendable and very informative post. Many thanks for your openness.

Here's my background as succinctly as possible. Hope it helps:

Started manual masturbating at 14yrs and increased vigorously thereafter. At 15yrs I heard a noticeable half second squelch from my right hand testicle area (EXCESSIVE MASTURBATION??). Concerned but no issues and no hospitalisation. First regular sexual encounter at 17yrs again with no issues. Moderately fit. mile and a half run in 11 minutes.

At 18yrs I could run 1 mile in 6m 18secs. Loose boxer short wearer. 15 years military, regular physical and sports. At 21yrs I signed up for the military and began to be a bit of an action man whilst serving (mountaineering, heavy rucksacks, rugby, parachuting, abseiling (HARNESSES??). At 27yrs I could run 5 miles with a 55Ib rucksack in 55 minutes followed by 55 lengths of the pool and 55 minutes treading water in a boiler suit consecutively, three times a week (INNER THIGH STRAIN??). It was at that point that I discovered I had an upside down egg shaped right testicle which aches to this day (now 48yrs).

I've had Ultrasound on the testicles with negative results. Manual 'ball checking' seems to temporarily ease it but not for long. So does strong pain killers or anti inflammatories. I have a spinal injury from a flying accident (severely damaged sacrum and lower limb injuries) and erections now occur with medication. Left buttock ache/pain is caused by compression of the Pudendal and Sciatic Nerve but the right ball ache is caused by slight crushing against the inner right thigh (LARGER RIGHT THIGH??). Stretching the ball sack(s) helps as does support underpants such as Y fronts.

Hope this helps.

Please see your doctor. Testicular cancer is usually found in young teenage males, it may be the sitting around but don't take chances.

Damn I am having same problem, woke up this morning and at first nothing seemed different, but as soon as i got out of shower, this really dull pain(like its not really pain its more like a really light ache like when a physician is holding/examining your testes). and like all of you said, this lower groin and upper/inner thigh, sometimes knee as well and it is on the right side as well, I told my parents about it and they said that you probably slept on one side the whole night and it probably put too much pressure on your testes, there is absolutely no swelling or redness or soreness, like its just the same color like it was before... I wonder what it is though. Next week if the pain still stays am gonna tell them lets get an ultra sound done :/

I've got all of the same symptoms and I'm only 11 stone. So I don't think it's anything to do with weight. Warmth seems to help a little but not fully

I have the same exact symptoms as you and I DO have vericocele.. and Every word in your description describes me. Here is a tip, to lessen the cramps, wear looser pants and tighter fitting boxers/underwear. Also I started wearing a tight compression sock on my right leg which helps with the leg pain a lot.

I was having problems with both of my testicles and sciatica in my lower back I went to the hospital and got it checked out and the doctor said it's a herniated disc in my back and it can be caused by sitting with bad posture and lifting heavy things would aggravate it. He also gave me exercises to do at home. Lay on your back and act like your about to take a dump. Like tight up the muscles in your stomach for a couple of seconds and then let it go . do it every day. He said If it doesn't get any better come back.

Yo, yes I got rid of mine, so there could be a number of causes:

Varicocele (it is totally fine to have this, where one testicle is bigger than other)
You are sitting too much and not standing enough.
Last but not least you probably pulled a vein in your thigh either by working out or in sleep.

To feel better:

Try to walk more and avoid sitting on a chair for long period of time.
Lay down straight, on your spine. (talking about sleeping position) Anytime you feel like sitting just lay down straight.
Another thing you can try is, some OTC medicines like anti-inflammatory which includes: Ibuprofen. or another one like Tylenol.

Hope this helps, I had ultrasound done and it came normal, I just had a varicocele in my left testicle and when my physician saw the report he was like you are totally fine, don't google too much and don't worry too much, continue with your exercises and daily routine.

Hello..im 47 years old and been having these issues since I was 41.

Mine started when I was awoke from sleep with right testicle pain and leg pain one night almost 7 years ago. I waited a day and then proceeded to see 2 doctors at same hospital and then 1 surgeon.

1st doctor thinks epididymitis (meds)
2nd doctor possible lingual hernia
Surgeon and staff do ct scan with contrast
Surgeon concludes no hernia but innumerable gallstones. Concludes pain is from a groin pull from working out/Military.

Been to V.A. E.R. once recommended surgery for hernia. Been to regular doctor said no hernia and that it's testicle pain..dont wear tight clothes.

Been back to V.A. recently with side pains and lower back pains along with swelling on right pubic side above penis. Dr. Results say probably not a hernia and muscular pains.

So..for me this been going on and off for years. There's no rhyme or reason..the right testicle and half of my whole right side can hurt from toes up to bad calf pain behind knee thigh hips buttocks scrotum..all of it.

I have had it hurt before during and after sex or masturbation. I have had it feel better sometimes after also so no rhyme or reason.

I have had it hurt before during and after working out. I have had it hurt like it has today which is bad and I have not worked out for two months. Again no rhyme or reason but I will say if you are a runner..wearing a jock helped me.

It has made me feel like vomiting before along with feeling really hot to where I strip clothes off and then usually get chills after cooling off. I have stomach pain also in mid to lower area quite a bit. At 41 I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease at the L1-L2 area in my back. I also have a bumped out area on my right lower leg which has been diagnosed as varicose vein. I am also about 15 lbs. Heavier now than at 41 which just guessing would be like 33 percent fat for my height.

So with this information for me the only variables that have not really changed in 7 years is.
1. Drinking
2. Diet
3. Clothes I wear minus combat boots.
(Work harder on these areas and hope)

I hope people get their own situation figured out.

Hi ... I have the same exact symptoms for a while .. and after research and many doctor's visits, it turn out to be a orchitis!
As sexually active heterosexual for the last year or with different partners, it turned out to be STD for me as I wasn't practicing safe sex ...
I understood there are other ways to get orchitis besides an STD, but I have learned if you get this condition sexually, it is the most painful and the hardest to treat ..
I have had it for more than 8 months and still on treatment!
So guys and gals for that matter .. take it from someone who is suffering .. PRACTICE SAFE SEX.
