I too have miscarried 4 times on Adderall.........stopped it 3months ago and am now 4 weeks pregnant! I hope it works!How did everything work out for you?

I have had miscarried three times in the past 11 years. I was not on adderall XR 30 mg at that time the time of my first-two miscarriages.
I am currently, 32 weeks pregnant with my first child at age 40. The third miscarriage was blight ovum, not linked to adderall.
My son is very active, in utreo. The only thing I see linked to adderall is dyhdration. My body dry's out and have to get rehydrated, IV FLUIDS.
Read your previous miscarriage records, I cannot soley link adderall to dehydration, because it was a part of previous pregnancy history.
I am allowed to take 30 mg in the morning plus 10g in the afternoon.

The only pregnancy I took adderall with my baby ended up with Spina Bifida. Please get off it immediately, it's not worth it.

I was prescribed Adderall xr and ir totaling 60mg - 80mg daily for two years. I quit taking my meds cold turkey once we found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. Our son was born a week late, totally healthy. His motor skills are superb - however, he is very behind in speech. He's currently being evaluated for autism and SPD. I feel adderall has affected my son in a negative way. My mental health doctor also agrees. If you took adderall at any point in your pregnancy, have your child evaluated!

Maybe it's just your body. I have had 3 healthy children taking 90 mg of adderol a day born 9 on the Apgar scale and are all well achieving children my oldest being 15 & my youngest being 8. The only problems my children have had were hereditary thru her fathers side of the family and that was a lazy eye. Look it up studies show your 1 in 5% who blames adderol on your miscarriage. Maybe your partners sperm and your egg don't come together properly to get those matching 23 chromosomes. Just the fact alone you have had that many miscarriages when 1 out of 10,000 women who take adderol miscarry 1 child & who knows if adderol was even to blame for it? #maybe you shouldn't be having kids

If you have an anxiety psychological disorder that you need brain altering medication for plus adderol for ADHD what business do you have bringing another child into the world?? Severe anxiety is due to traumatic childhood events & is lifelong effecting. Celexa hasn't even been around long enough to tell since it effects your brain as a whole & clearly your brain doesn't work properly why have kids?? UGHH!! Can't stand ignorant people

So glad to read this. I'm in same boat as you and so many other women here. 60mg a day, 10 weeks pregnant. Tried quitting. It was hell. I can't lose my job, which is very demanding but rewarding at the same time. A part of me feels like my baby will be just fine, so it makes me so happy to read that I am probably right.

I'm on celexa and a high dose of adderal. And I didn't want this pregnancy to happen. I will be raising it alone. But it's not my baby's fault. Everyone that knows me knows I'll be a great mother. Relax. Some women do crazy stuff the entire time they're pregnant and the kid is born flawless. Some women do nothing and the child is deformed and/or mentally handicapped. We can control things to an extent but ultimately it is all left up to chance. I can't work without my Adderal and I get sick and crazy without my celexa. In addition to having adhd I'm bipolar. I can't help it, id do anything to just be normal. I quit everything cold turkey when j first found out I was pregnant - I'm 26, it was my first time, I didn't think I was fertile before this. Anyway, I suffered for 2 weeks until it occurred to me the lack of antidepressants and adds may be what's killing me. Got back on. Been great since. So far baby is fine. We'll see. There are bad people out there though that do horrible things. Don't come here and insult us. We love our kids, were doing the best we can.

When pregnant with my now 9yr old son I was taking adderall xr 50mg until I was 6 months along . I was also 16 and in high school attempting to hide my pregnancy from friends and family. Needless to say I went without prenatal care for those 6mos as well. Despite my poor judgment and through the grace of God my son was born with no problems and is still very healthy today. For all the moms worried about long term sides effects seen later in development, my son is in 4th grade taking 5th/6th grade classes and is extremely intelligent, he's classified as gifted and retains information without effort. He's loving and kind, he's perfect in every way.

Hi, Guest! I was just hoping to find out how much adderrall you took while pregnant? My physician says 30 mg is too much, and has allowed me to take 20 mg /day, however, my metabolism was quick prior to pregnancy, but now is even more quick, and this 20 mg dosage that would've normally given me 8 hours of productivity throughout the day now only allows for 4. Please help if you can by letting me know how much you took since you had a safe pregnancy and your daughter is doing so well. My baby is large already, and I have not had any complications up to this point (I am 23 weeks).

This post is prejudicial and discriminatory. I have similar issues, and they are hereditary. None of my siblings have them, but an aunt and grandma did. If you think people with anxiety, etc. shouldn't have children, where does it end? Do you believe that people who have learning difficulties shouldn't procreate? What about people with very bad eyesight? if you believe such people shouldn't procreate, that necessarily implies that you don't believe that children with these issues should live. What about us, as adults with these issues? Are we so flawed, in your mind, that we should not live?
I cant help but wonder if even you could meet the high standards you have for who should be allowed to procreate. Please read up on eugenics. You may find that you don't want to be lump yourself with historical proponents of eugenics--Adolf Hitler, for example.
