Hi, .. Under Dr. I used Percocet for Back pain last 5yrs, I used up all my script and bought many more, taking 20 plus pills daily.. Wanted to stop knowing I was killing myself, Now trying to stay off Percocets alltogether I am using Methadone without script. I have not taken any perc's in a month, I started with 15mg of Methadone every 6hrs. now down to 15 - 20 in the morning then again about 7hrs later another 15-20mg Methadone. There are even times I only take 10mg for a dose. So Total 30 to 40 mg a day of meth. Wothout my Dr. knowing. This has helped my pain, got me off the percocets completely, I feel a lot better, Knowing I'm off Perc's and help with my pain and in general. My Question, My Dr. Gives me 100 Percocets a month, I want to switch to the Methadone, He is a strict Dr. and I don't know how to approche him, Any Help. I want to be legal and reduce my pain. is this the right choice? Thank you for any input.
