The thing to remember about suboxone (It's Subutex in UK so sorry if it's spelled wrong) is it's an opiate antagonist,  meaning if you have had any opiates in the past 24 hours especially if you use daily then the subutex is not going to react well in your system.  It will send out those messages in your brain saying your in withdrawal and you will start feeling bad.  If you are meaning you are going from a methadone or other opiate script to a subutex one it's best to wait a full 24 hours from the last dose, as although the effects of methadone wont be felt for this long, it is still active in your system for up to 72hours.  If the question was more along the lines of your trying to avoid withdrawal by self medicating any substitute you can get.  Again I'd leave it 24 hours, and also it may be best to stick to one type of treatment, as the two do not mix
