Often after I use the bathroom I still feel the need to go... I saw a doctor who said I didn't have an infection but this has been going on for awhile and it worries me. Does anyone know what it could be?

Perhaps you don't have an infection, but you do have something that is worthy of attention. My suggestion is that you get to a gastroenterologist right away. Gastrointestinal problems can progress into serious conditions. There are several things that could be causing your problem that would not be related to an infection, i.e. blockages, etc. Check for blood in your stool too. Don't wait around for this. It may not be that uncomfortable now, but it doesn't sound like it will go away on its own. Let's hope it's just a bad case of gas....Let us know what the diagnosis turns out to be. Take care.
