I've been having slight pain/pressure in my left ear for abou three days. but yesterday the pain got worse and I even have a little of it in my right ear too. I'm trying to figure out if this will go away on it's own or if I need to go to the doctor. So far taking advill kills most of the pain. I've also been congested and worn down. Is it a cold? Ear infection? Do I need antibiotics?

It sounds like to me that you have an ear ache or you are getting strep throat. Sometimes when people have pain in there ears that mean they are getting strep. But other times you could be having an inner ear infection which should be treated with antibiotics. So I suggest you go to the doctor. It's not so major that you have to go to the E.R. but you should make a doc. appt. in the morning.
