Hello all! I need somebody to explain one thing for me. My mom uses a drug anafrinil and I even don’t know what it is for, I only notice that she is nervous sometimes but I never ask what it is!!! Can anybody explain what this drug is used for. I would like to help my mom somehow if this is possible. Thanx!!!

Hello! Anafranil is very similar to antidepressants and is used for treating people who suffer from obsession and compulsion. I suppose you don’t know what these are, so I will explain as well. An obsession is a persistent idea that comes even though there is an effort to ignore it and forget it. A compulsion is an action that person can’t stop doing even though they know it is without sense. It would be good if you tried talking to your mother, maybe you would make it easier for her, to know that she has such a considering child. Good for her!!!
