I had a painful bowel movement and when i wipe there was bright red blood on the toilet paper. Went to the doc and she it was anal fissures and gave me a cream for it. However i unprotected sex a few weeks before ai got the fissures. I had a herpes blood test done at 7 weeks using a IgG that came back negative.Could the fissures be caused by a outbreak? I have another appointment set a 12 weeks for more blood work and i am thinking about getting a western blot. So my question is could this be a ob and does anal herpes cause bright red blood during a bowel movement
