Hey guys, thanks in advance for any information you may give to help me out =) I apologize for how long this is, I just want to give you all the information possible.
A little background on myself/health history. I'am 22 years old, had a descent diet growing up. Joined the Infantry (army) at 17, had an awesome diet up until I got out at 21 and was incredible shape. Drank heavily for about 6 months after getting out of the forces and have lived pretty much entirely on fast food and c**p food for the past year and a half. Even in the year and a half I've been out of the military I've still had an extremely active life physically, since I do manual labor for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. 3 weeks ago I turned my life around and started eating extremely healthy again and getting back into weight lifting and running.
Now, onto the medicial part of things. For years now, I've always had re-curring red blood on toilet paper. Yes, even during teenage years. I always just assumed it was hemmoroids, since nothing was ever wrong with me symptom wise (no fatigue, illness, vomiting, loss of appetite, etc), there was only the red blood. In my last 6 months in the military I developed extreme diarreha, my stools were awful and it took a month for the diarreha to go away. Once my bowel movements went regular again, it was right back to blood on toilet paper, and now a little bit would be in the toilet water tinging it slightly red. I went and saw a military doctor for an examination and it came back to be an anal fissue if I remember correctly.
Well now, even for the past year, I've had the same thing happen every few months. Blood on toilet paper, it comes and goes. Since I started eating right I have had very good bowel movements on and off. Today I took a bowel movement, and not only was the toilet water bright-medium red, but there appeared to be a descent amount of bright-medium red blood on and in the stool itself.
Am I looking at internal hemmoroids here, another anal fissure? Or possibly something worse. Oh, I also strain more than I probably should on the toilet.

Hi Hopefullyfine,
I pray that you are doing allright. Some of your symptoms sound like some things that I had, not quite as much though.
Have you ever had any REALLY bad pains in your left side? Any bad fevers?
You might REALLY want to have your doctor check you for diverticulitis. They can usually do some scans for that.
I pray the best for you. Please let me know how you are doing, oki?

Hi my name is Ebony, I'm 28 years old I have been seeing bolld in my stool for about six months niw. The doctor havs checked by sticking his finger in my rectum, but he always say there in no blood in my stool. I have a bowel movement two -three time a day and every time I have bright red blood in the toilet water and in the stool.
Could it be serious? what kind of test should I ask the doctor to order?

Hi,
That would be up to the doctor as far as the test goes, but they order colonscopies...perhaps something different. I am not a physician, Im not sure. Blessings,
Hizgrace
