For a week now I have had strange twitching in my rectum (at times it goes toward my vaginal area too) that causes my upper legs to shake/tremble -- a lot so that it influences my walking. I have no pain anywhere! Just this infernal twitching that keeps me from doing daily chores/work. This never happens during the night! Went to my internist who sent me to an orthopedic surgeon. They did an MRI -- showed age appropriate stenosis, can't tell if this causes what is going on -- he wants me to see a neurologist and a spine surgeon. Read posts on this website about "anal buzzing" that sounded what is going on with me, but no one mentioned any shaking upper legs. This starts when I get up in the morning; if I stand a certain way the shaking and twitching stops; if I lie down flat and stay that way it stops; when I start walking around it starts again. If I rest in the morning, by about noon it all stops. It is very frustrating and scary to me. Am making an appointment with my gastroenterologist to see what she says. My question to the readers is: has anyone experienced leg tremors/shaking along with the twitching/buzzing?
