Yep this used to happen to me all the time, it eventually went away though. I’m pretty sure it was part of all the anxiety/OCD symptoms and just feeling nervous all the time

Oh thank god I’m not alone! How long did it last for you and how many months off the pill are you? This happened to me back in September and it lasted off and on for over a week. I lost so much weight.

I was actually only on the pill for 6 months and I’m 9 months off now! I never would’ve thought 6 months of birth control would have caused such distress in my life, the first months off of it were so terrible but I’ve improved a lot. The heart racing and nervousness issues only really lasted about 2-2.5 months for me. I also lost about 20 pounds because I was so anxious/depressed.

Is anyone else incredibly exhausted? I'm so fatigued I slept 14 hours and then didn't leave my bed all day long. I can't live like this long term, I can't function at all.

I slept once for 30 days, and had to be removed from the hospital in the 3rd stage of a coma. Sleep is good for a brain that is healing from trauma. Now, 18 years later I try to push through naps because they are to exhausting.

I'm so fatigued too! It's awful! Have had moments of barely being able to stand. My health anxiety is making me obsessed with chronic fatigue syndrome or ME. The symptoms line up and it can be triggered by a hormone imbalance!? I'm so scared this is my life now :(

omg me too ! I was just watching a documentary on Netflix called Unrest and I put 2 and 2 together. I've never felt so exhausted and unmotivated. It's the worst after 5pm.

I got a supplement called Cortisol Balance by Medford.... I've been on it for 3 weeks now (2 capsules every night) and it has worked like a charm, I'm also using products by Mannatech, they are plant based and help with restoring your endocrine system after taking the pill. Also clean eating as in whole foods, no caffeine or sugar until you balance out as this makes everything worse. I've been off the pill now since August 2018 and every day gets better. I know it feels like it wont but push through the really scary days and get plenty of rest. Oh and I've also been taking Vit C 2000 mg per day and magnesium about 1000mg a day..... all the stuff I've been taking has really helped to speed up the healing process. The antianxiety and antidepressants wont work as its your adrenals / nervous system is fatigued and that is what you need to treat.

Im 5 months off BC and was starting to feel better but just had a funny turn. I was at work and the room starting spinning, everything sort of slowed down, I felt dizzy like I was going to pass out. Has anyone had this? Ive had it before but thought it would go away because I'm so far off now. Why am I getting worse?! It was terrifying, it felt like i was on drugs!

Has anyone gone back on the pill after being off for a period of time and had chest pains or heart palpiations? Mine is so bad I keep thinking i'm going to have a heart attack.

I had to go back on until I see my gyno and have my blood tested because the withdrawal totally burned me out and I couldn't leave my bed for weeks.. but honestly being back on has only given me different, more concerning symptoms.

Hey, I haven't gone back on the pill but heart palpitations are definitely a sign of a hormonal imbalance, mine have been so bad coming off.
Sometimes I think mine get worse when I have eaten badly, so maybe that could help? Mine also seemed to last about 2 weeks then subsided.
How long were you off BC before deciding to go back on?

My heart palps definitely coincide with what i eat. Since coming off birth control i can’t have caffeine , garlic , or alcohol without heart palps
