Hi, im 25 years old and was diagnosed with severe anxiety 3 years ago. What most people dont know is an estimated 13.1 million people throughout the world suffer from anxiety or panic attacks. Almost anything can trigger anxiety for a person. One major trigger for me was getting busy at work. What helped me to overcome my panic attacks was to find a quiet place, count to ten, and put things in perspective. "yes its busy right now, but I can only do one thing at a time. One thing at a time, and everything will get done."

Our situations are different, but the problem is the same, anxiety.

One thing for you that might help is when you start feeling an attack, stop what you are doing, and reassure yourself "I make healthy choices, I won't allow myself to feel overwhelmed etc."

It might sound silly, but it does take effort and it may help.

Remember, youre not alone, many people struggle with anxiety.

If you get to a point where you feel like you can't work yourself through an attack, go to your doctor. There are medications that are fairly inexpensive. Medications are always a last resort for me, but sometimes they do help.
