My throat is only sore when I swallow, but it is very red and my ears also hurt when I swallow. Also, my eyes have been bright red with a gunky discharge during the night that makes it difficult to open my eyes. Also, I have a green thick mucus that I cough up. Mostly in the morning, but throughout the day the mucus is more of a yellowish color. This has been going on for about a month now. I have been to the doctor and was given an 875mg amoxicilin. It did help a little, but not much. Any advice as to what is going on?
