I just had one removed today. The shot stung, but the actual procedure didn't hurt at all. The procedure took about 3 minutes.

I'm hoping when you say Dr you mean specialist. I wouldn't let a normal Dr remove it. I went to my optometrist and got a referral to an eye specialist/surgeon.
Mine was removed from underneath. All is fine. Stitches dissolved well,
I went into hospital and was put under for it. I didn't want it be awake for it.
Any Dr that makes that comment i wouldn't trust them to perform it. Find an eye specialist.
The whole was removed without a drama.
If I were you I'd cancel and go to an optometrist and get a referral to a specialist.

Had a chalazion removed 4 days ago. It will feel like it fills, is very soft, and drains.
Is this a part of the normal healing process?

Same problem here. I had a chalazion removed surgically 12 days ago and still have a bump in the original spot. Dr said it was successfully drained.. so then why this bump still? It is smaller than the original but not by much especially to the touch.. I also think it gets worse by the end of the day. I am reading this can be normal but why does it look the same as it did before surgery? Will it ever go down??? HELP~ Very worried!
