Are you happy with your life?

I couldn't be happier. I am still a little overweight from where I want to be, but I am working on that, and having fun doing it. I love my wife and my child, I have great friends, a home, and a smile. :D

For the most part Yes. I have made a few bad choices many years ago that affect who I am now but in the end they made me who I am now. Though I cannot change the decision I have learned to live with my choice and have become a better person.
I have become a loving husband, father, dedicated civil servant and a better man. Yeah I am proud of who I am.
I think Robin is proud of who I am and what I mean to her and the kids. She sees the dedication I have to our family and devotion to her.
I know I am proud of her. She is a boss now in her company with a lot of responsiblity. She has done well for herself and is an excellent wife and mother.

Most of the time.

However, I have moments when I am not proud of myself.

For the most part, yes. I am not proud of everything I have done or of all the decisions I have made but you can't look backwards, only forwards.

Yes I am.

Still a lot more to do yet though.

Sometimes. More now than before, though. I have made huge positive changes in my life these last couple of years. I'm probably the type that will never be satisfied, though.

edit to say: I'm happy with my life. Best family evah. It's me I can constantly improve on.

Happy with my life? Absolutely. Proud of myself? Some days. Other days I think I could do better.

No, I've got a terrible case of could-have-done-it-better-itis. I've learned to accept that about myself though, it's just a part of who I am. If I were an Olympic gold medalist in the 10K, I'd still be kicking myself for not being faster.

I'm proud of what i am to become. I am to become all my dreams for i will not rest until i have achieved just that...which means i will not rest until i die because the strive to do everything i want tod o and become, would take many lifetimes.

Every choice i've made has made me who i am today, and for that i am glad. All the negativity in my life as a kid has made me aware of it today, so i can avoid or fight it. I have the tools to better myself, and i can ask for nothing more then that.

Quite happy. Ran into some concrete walls and such, hit a few speed bumps, gotten off-track, but I am definitely living better in every possible way than I ever have.

And soon it will be even more wonderful. Honestly, this is most amazing. Mornings I wake up and think, "Is this really happening?" And then I feel my baby wiggle around inside of me, and see my husband's face next to me, and everything else just melts, leaving me where I am now.

1...it really is more amazing than you can imagine!
Yes, I am very happy with my life. I'm proud of who I am and what I've accomplished. My family and personal relationships are the most important thing to me and make me very happy. I accomplished a lot I believe with my education and part of my career, and although I haven't found my perfect nitch professionally, I believe that someday I will. Right now my perfect job is mommy which makes me happy. Honestly all in all I feel blessed at how happy I am.

Wow, a good thinking question after reading some of your answers! If you're looking in terms of what I do for a living, NO!!! I am miserable being a corporate lackey, working for a company that doesn't give a sh*t about people, it's employees or outsiders, however I am proud of the fact that I'm taking big steps and making sacrifices to change that. But it's not happening fast enough for me. I too have made some heavy changes in my personal life over the last couple years, and I continue to improve all the time, for that I am happy. But, like PH, I get restless and I always think I can do better with myself. I struggle to remember we are all a work in progress and that we have to like ourselves at each stage of the journey or we'll get more easily discouraged. Thanks for posting, Rando! I needed a little kick in the attitude today.

Yes, but I am still a work in progress.

This question makes me think of a line from the Pet Shop Boy's "Being Boring":

I never thought I'd get to be / The creature I'd always meant to be

Just when I think I'm where I want to be, I find someway to improve upon that place.

I'm very happy with my life. I'm proud of my achievements but I too am always a work in progress and will always attempt to do more, see more, learn more, accomplish more, especially in terms of my realtionships with other people. Relationships, now those are the significant achievements!
