BAD REACTION FROM ISAGENIX

I did it for 30 days had the same thing! My bowels Ended up impacted and an iron count of 6. My bowels are still recovering. Ended up having an iron. Infusion. I don’t think the people selling this stuff are knowledgeable of the ingredients at all. In the end I listened to my body and I knew something was off.

I am so happy to see your post, I had been using Isagenix for about 3 months I like the idea of the shakes to supplement meals as I have a busy schedule and don’t get to really sit and eat. I underwent lipo suction on March 9 and about a week later I started developing these rashes it was horrible my regular Dr said it was something they gave me when I had the lipo, I had underwent a tummy tuck the year before and the only thing different was the pain killer so we thought it was that, my Dr said it could take a month to go through my system well a month past and 2 months past 3 months and I’m still miserable so I started to take things out of my diet first vitamins then peanut butter then Isagenix it subsided and I had a shake the other night and the next morning bam

Take this product almost killed me. I had to go and get medical attention! Icegenix is NOT for everyone!

It is the detox that is making you have this reaction. You are apparently very very toxic. I’ve been doing Isagenix since it came out.. and it is amazing. I had a reaction to it as well.. but that is the toxins leaving your system! I haven’t had a reaction since.

Hi thanks for your post.as i have recently got a skin rash called erythema multiforme.i have been on isagenixs for 30 days and only 3 days ago i woke up to scratching my leg.than next night to scratching my legs, back, arms.went to doc and she said it was the above that rash caused by alegic reaction to something i have taken.being taken since a steroid based pill now and 2 days taken it it has cleared up almost gone.than to wake up now scratching again problem coming back.so i will stop talking the 2 tablets on Isagenix to see how i go.can anybody relate to?

I am on my third week and have a horrible insanely itchy rash! I am seeing my physician today but I am very concerned it is this product, which I really like! I feel wonderful otherwise.

I have this same horrible rash - which for me started about the same time I started the Isagenix. I really like it so I don't want to quit, but I am seeing my physician today.

Same happened to me. I returned the product and the company gave me a full refund. The upline was telling me it was a niacin rash and that I was detoxing. My doctor said phony. Our liver and kidneys detox us. Honestly I stopped using the isagenix products and waited for the rash to go away and then when it was clear I decided to try again but only with the shakes and figureed if i could tolerate those after a few days I would incorporate the accelerator, etc. Well, after one day restarting the shakes the rash started to come back. Too bad because I was enjoying the products.

I have been dealing with this issue over the last 6 months. I started Isagenix back in September of 2015, lost 40lbs, and felt great. No issues. I pretty much stopped the cleanses after the 6 month mark. I went down to one shake a day with no issues, and out of the blue last June (2018), I started getting a rash on my side and elbows that itched like crazy. I thought it was eczema.

We went on vacation for two weeks, and I didn't bring the shakes and it went away. I thought maybe the sun/salt water helped it. When I got home, I started back on the shakes once a day, and it came back. This time in other places. I went to a dermo, had multiple biopsies that came back simply 'an allergic reaction'. I changed my laundry detergent, shampoo, soap all to no fragrance, no dyes, etc. And the rash remained. It was like whack-a-mole. I would put prescription cream on the rash and it would go away, but pop up in another spot.

I finally saw a new dermo, who did another biopsy, told me it wasn't topical as it presented as blisters, and we analyzed everything I was eating/doing. Then, it clicked. I had started back up with the full program in January, and the rash was getting worse, and showing in places I had never had it before. She told me to stop Isagenix and to take Allegra in the morning and Zyrtec at night. It hasn't even been a week, and my rash is all but gone- and it was on the backs of both arms, around my belly button, on both thighs, my knees, my lower back and both of my sides (love handles). I will be returning this product.

It worked great for me for the 6 months I initially used it, but something changed- either with my body chemistry, or in the product, and my body reacted. No one can tell me it isn't the shakes. It has to say something that MANY people are coming forward with these issues. That, to me, doesn't sound like a 'toxin issue'. Sorry.

Do you have any photos? My daughter also had a reaction on her hand that burned and resembled a sunburn. She stopped Isagenix it got better. Got back on Isagenix and in a week it came back

I have had a terrible reaction to Isagenix products and I want my story heard so that others that find themselves in my shoes they know what to do and that is to stop these products all together if you react the way I did.
First let me say I loved the system, the products, I found it really easy to follow and I did lose about 4kgs…
What frustrates me the most is when I contacted my coach/support person telling them of my symptoms I was told it was just my body detoxing. My lips were tingling, my mouth and tongue. The entire inside of my mouth felt like it was on fire. My throat became sore and itching like I wanted to stick my fingers down my throat and scratch it. I went to the doctor and he was so confused by my symptom, he ordered several blood tests, and did a throat swab thinking I had step throat??? I knew that was not what it was but I took the antibiotics anyway thinking I must have had something bacterial. 10 days of antibiotics hardly did a thing to improve my symptoms.
The second time I went to the doctor they then thought I had oral thrush. After missing several days of work because my mouth was so sore I could hardly speak, and I couldn’t eat and stopped Isagenix – I started to improve. I started up a week later and the same symptoms came back. Without doubt it was Isagenix I was reacting to and I feel so ripped off. Because of the on again off again problems and am out of the 30 days refund period. If you are told it is detox symptoms do your own research. I have learned there is a big difference between detox reaction and an allergic reaction/intolerance. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE PRODUCTS. This was the only change I had made in my diet. I kept trying to persevere thinking I was just sick. Detox symptom don't include a tingling tongue, mouth or lips.
I realise there are some people that have done very well on this product and those of you that have may find it hard to believe that someone could react this bad but I guess it just isn’t for everyone and the reps that sell this stuff should be better trained to recognise when someone is have an allergic reaction especially when some of these people claim to be nurses etc. Still to this day they say things like “I’d be very surprised if it was Isagenix causing your issues” well of course you would as this is how you make your money and god forbid anyone say it is less than amazing.
Now looking back I wonder why I ever let myself get sucked in. I know how to lose weight and I hate anything to do with MLM. Lesson learnt.

I too have a terrible face rash and can’t get it to stop. I’ve been to 2 doctors and tried 5 different medications. I have been off of isagenex for a few weeks now and no change. When the rash appeared I was told it’s just part of the program, work through it as toxins are released. Did you find relief for your skin?

during the first week of your program you will experience changes in energy levels, digestions, etc as your body detoxes and gets used to higher amount of nutrition as well as the herbs and botanicals inside the Ionix Supreme. Your coach should tell you what to expect and be there for any questions or help you might need. These reactions sound a little strong and I’m wondering if there are other factors involved. If you’re taking any prescription medications at the same time as the Ionix supreme it will interfere with the meds.

I experience this the first time I tried Isagenix. I wasn’t told what to expect at all. Then 2 years later I tried it again and it changed my health. I lost 65lbs, got out of a wheelchair, never slept better and just completely turned everything around. It’s amazing what the right nutrition can do.

Everyone’s experience’s, needs and goals are a little different.

I’ve personally watched thousands of lives changed by these products. Do your research to understand the science behind any products you try, understand what nutrition is all about and come armed with knowledge and an open mind. That’s always the best way to approach it.
