Hi, my son just turned one and days later he got BP. What exactly did you go through? My son has an ear infection and was sick which might be causing it so he is now on antibiotics. But, I am wondering if we need to see an neurologist to make sure nothing bigger is happening.

Hi... We just found out one of my twin daughters ( age 3) has bells palsy! She's had it since birth but her doctor always blew it off like nothing was wrong...she finally sent us to a neurologist now that my girl is 3! She will probably have it the rest of her life

I had it at 19 , it lasted 2 months I was so scared because they said there's really no cure but prescribed medicine for herpes and steriods, stating it helps the nerves go back to working normal. Its been 10 yrs, when I smile my eye closes a little bit that's it but now my 9 yr old is experiencing the same thing right now I think, her jaw got stuck mouth wouldn't close and talking funny. So we're on our way for a ct

My 3yr. has Bells Palsy and is being treated for Lime (even after Lime test came back negative) The doctor said it was the main cause for small children to get Bells Palsy. Very confused about this and surpised no one here was had the same thing as we have been told?

My four year old woke up memorial day with it. 5 weeks later I see no improvement. Can anyone speak to how long it took for their child? I've heard a lot of adult stories but since this is uncommon in kids this age it's hard to find people who can relate to this as a parent of a young child. It's horrible to hear from the dr that they have no clue how it happened and no clue how to fix it. Just wait or MRI. So scary and I also pray and cry a lot. I hear kids recover quickly but 5 weeks and no change is discouraging as a mom.
