I was diagnosed with bells palsy almost five years ago. In that moment, I was in my seventh month of pregnancy. The condition progressed slowly, but all that stopped when my son was born. This also happened 3 years after, while I was pregnant again! A year after I had another bells palsy attack but I was not pregnant. Is there any connection between bells palsy and pregnancy?

I have to say that I am glad that you have recovered from these three attacks with no consequences, I assume. Bell's palsy is more likely to happen to a woman then to a man. Also, pregnant women are in more danger to get affected by this disease (around 3.3 times more). And it happens in last three months, always! I am a bit confused by the fact that the illness recurred but it is possible.
