I know should be able to breastfeed and that it does not really matter what you eat. But surely, some foods lead to a better quality of milk than others, and eating certain foods will keep the breastfeeding mom happier and healthier too? In short, please tell me what the best diet for breastfeeding is. I am due in two months time with my first baby. Is there anything I can already start doing now to encourage a good milk supply and to ensure that my baby will get the healthiest milk possible? Thanks!
