We all know that 80-90 percent of men have fordyce spots, which are completely harmless physically, but can be very dangerous from a mentally. In this day and age, dermatologists and pharmacologists should be able to determine the cause of fordyce spots and come up with a treatment no problem. This brings me to the obvious question: if fordyce spots are so prevalent and just some sebasceous glands, why hasn't some treatment emerged? The answer to medical questions like these, I've found, is most always that drug companies lobby against it. Think about it: Millions of men likely suffer anxiety/ depression from fordyce spots.... big profits in store for drug companies because of this disease. I will be doing research to test whether my claim is correct, and will post the information as it comes to me. But is anyone else thinking this same thing??? Lol, "the cause is unknown" my ass. Give an undergrad medical student a couple thousand bucks to do some tests and they'll come up with an effective treatment no prob.
