I'm a former smoker, quit 6 years ago, smoked marijuana earlier in the year but it's been about 4 months since I last smoked.
I'm coughing up flem with black specs, some times almost all black, and recently orange-ish red flem. I decided to post because a few nights ago I coughed up a large chunk of something rubbery. Translucent and hard kind of like tough fat and the flem was very very sticky and red. Almost no saliva, very slimy and sticky. My first guess is a piece of tissue from my lungs or throat, but I have no idea the likely hood oh that.
I'm 36, reasonably good health, recently fought off an oral yeast infection and have a pretty nasty patch of scleroderma across my neck on the right side, from just under the right ear along the jaw line to the center of my throat.
I want to see my doc about it, but i don't want to freak out if it's something normal.

Go see a doctor man, that doesn't sound good. Never hurts to seek professional opinion

Did you end up going to a doctor? It sounds to me like you were coughing up dead lung tissue.
