I'm  50 years old and have started to have some bleeding after sex and after self pleasuring.  Hubby has had some bleeding also during sexual stimulation.  He was diagnosed as having a prostrate infection. Got meds then it came back again after he was sick with strep and had to be hospitalized and on heavy heavy meds.  Now he s still has blood when excited and then When we had sex I started to bleed.  I wanted to make sure it was me and not just him and I self pleasured two different times and both times I had bleeding right after.  Have not been on any bc for at least 24 years.  Had a cervical freeze about 20 years ago.  No bad paps since.  I haven't had periods for about 5 years no hormone pills or anything.  Just gradually quit having periods.  No major menop symptoms.  No relatives with a history of cancers.  But my hubby had throat cancer two years ago.  but hes clear bill of health these days.  What can cause me and him to bleed and is this contagious.  No extra partners so stds are out I would think.
