Hey, I've had constant fatigue for a while now with cronic abdominal and pelvic pain. I've been gaining weight yet I have not altered the amount I exercise or changed my diet. Recently Ive started to get pain during sexual intercourse and I always feel bloated. Help!! what should I do?

I think you should see a gynecologist (I'm assuming you're a girl?). I had similar problems, really subtle symptoms that I ignored. Mt stomach was looking bigger and sometimes I felt nauseous. It also hurt for my boyfriend to go too deep during sex. I ended up having a tumor and lost an ovary.

I have the same problem. I had an exploratory lap done, and all they found was that my intestines were connected to my uterus with scar tissue. Everything else looked good, so they cleaned up the tissue and shut me back up. For a month a had no pain. THEN, I started back with mild joint-like discomfort, and a few nights ago, during intercourse, I had this sharp pain again on the right side, when my boyfriend was on top.

I went to the doctor and she is sending me for a colonoscopy. I have not had a "normal" bowel movement in years. I go everyday, but never anything bigger then my pinky finger. Color is average, and I get diarrhea alot.

If the colonoscopy comes back normal, I guess I will look into Pelvic Floor disorders, or possibly someone to check for hip/joint problems. Maybe it could even be an acute hernia... pain does originate near my old appendix scar.

All I know is that after ultrasounds, CT's, blood work, and surgery, I would have liked to know what is causing this pain. It gets really frustrating. What is worse is how doctor's just want to hand you pain pills instead of trying to help you figure out where the pain is coming from. I am 30 years old, and have been clean from drugs for 14 years. I will not let doctor's give me anything for pain except Motrin/ Tylenol. I am not looking to hide the symptoms... I just want to know what is causing them! I am not afraid of pain, and it only slows me down when it is really bad. The level of pain does fluctuate from 0 to 10! Somedays it causes fatigue. But, I am still alive and try to focus on the positve!

Any suggestions, please let me know.

I have similar problems. Going to the doctor is extremely frustrating because they either lose my referral or say they have no idea what the problem could be. My stomach is extended so much that I have had to buy "concealer" clothing to deter people from asking if I am pregnant! I've researched many different "potential" causes, but there are so many that have similar symptoms. I was diagnosed with P.C.O.S. years ago, but after my last baby I was doing well until March of this year. I have noticed the inflamation usually begins around ovulation, and lasts until my cycle begins. Every other month tends to be worse. Anyone else notice the same pattern?

I have the same problem. I have been taking prilosec and ibuprofen fo rthe pain in my pelvic area and my stomach. I too have major extension of my stomach area and look like I am pregnant. i have had several test done over the past several years and my gyno is now sending me for a pelvic ultrasound. i am already a cervical cancer survivor so these things scare me. I hope that someone out there have some answers since our medical professionals dont. Where is Dr. House when you need him?

i have gained about 20 pounds in about 3 months.. i am so tired all the time and have NO ENERGY.. i hurt in my abdomen and have pain during sex.. i also do not go to the bathroom like i should.. i have not in years.. after a trip to my gyno, he said that my uterus, and the rest of my woman parts had sank down to where they were not supposed to be.. his suggestion was a hysterectomy or they could tack everything back where it goes... I am 27 and do not want to have a hysterectomy... i do not think that this is going to solve my problem.. if anyone else finds a solution please post

Hi, I'm a Naturopath and I am wondering if you need enzymes to break down the food you are eating. Sometimes even a little apple cider vinegar during your meals may help as it can also be a stomach acid problem. Strangely enough it could be too little stomach acid . Another problem could be your gallbladder (stones) as this has become extremely common nowadays.
I recommend you find a good Naturopath, they can often help most of the problems I see here on this site. Good Luck.
