Over the last few months I've been having some problems with aching testicles which started when I found a lump on my right testicle around the epididymis. My doctor sent me to see the Urologist, who in turn was very brief and said it was nothing to worry about and was just slightly swollen and nothing to worry about. Two months on, the area seems more swollen and painful.

I have read about epididymitis, which it seems quite symptomatic of, but I also pursued the route of vasocongestion and ejaculation does seem to alleviate some of the pain.

My left testicle is the most painful, which seems to flinch a pain though my scrotal area randomly, but the area is tender as a whole. The ducts also seem slightly swollen.

Does anyone have any advice? Should I go back to my doctor or is there something I can take?

Find a new Urologist, I have been through three, going to my forth. They either tell you, you don't have a problem, it's not life threatening so they won't treat it , tells you they know how you feel, but you need to live with it. Which is ALL BULL. If they had the symptoms, they would get it corrected. Dr.'s are not Gods, even though some think they are. They have an attitude that they went to school, they know everything and you are stupid. I told the on guy, it would be different if it was his problem, it does feel different. He told me not to come back! He was an arrogant prick, who should be referring patients to another Dr. with more expertise. You are paying him, if you aren't getting proper care, give him one less patient. I do research on my own also, and I took him a new procedure they were doing, and he threw it back at me and said he wouldn't do it. My Primary care Dr. is great, I can ask him anything, I tell him how the visit to another Dr. went, and If I'm not happy, we find a different Dr. I have managed places that were big business's , both my parents were in upper management, I was raised to provide customer service, and if I feel I'm getting bad service, I tell them. Or go over their heads.
