Hi all
A couple of months ago, i went to the doctors as the left testicle was larger than the other one so i went to the doctors who referred me to the hospital. I had altra-sound and they said it was all okay.
Now days, the left testicle is still alot larger than the right and i regulary get a tingling sansation and sometimes pain.
The pain i believe could be due to wearing lose boxers all the time and seems to occur at work (alot of walking around) and in the cold (at work) but the tingling, im not too sure about.
The ultra-sound was all okay a few months ago but should i go back or what. :/
many thanks

Hi,
I'd suggest you see a urologist. This is their area of expertise. Your testicle should not remain swollen for a couple of months without cause. Some form of infection, not necessarily an STD, would be my concern at this point.
Were you tested for STD's? They can cause the swollen testicle and the tingling pains that you're feeling.
Hope it helps.

Hi,
It is very common for the testicles to be of different sizes. I interpreted your statement as it had just happened. No worries.
The tingling could be an irritation from the way the boxers and how things hang. Maybe try a more supportive form of underwear and see how it goes.
I'm curious as to "something like a cyst." If it is something like epidymitis, which may or not be related to having sex, then it can cause the enlargement of the testicle and the tingling. It often presents as a mass in the scrotum (similar to a cyst).
Just a thought. If it continues to bother you I'd still suggest you see urologist, not your regular doctor, for an exam.
Keep us posted.

It depends on where you live and your insurance. In some cases you need a referral from you primary care doctor. It is probably easiest to just call a urologist. Your doctor can recommend one or you could check the phone book or online.
