on the sides near my armpits... they are really hard too. I just had my period over two weeks ago, breast pain is normal but my period was so recent! I did have intercourse but there was a condom and pulling out involved

Is the breast pain same as the one that happens with periods? It could be related to your ovulation, there are many women who experience signs like abdominal cramps or breast tenderness when they are ovulating, in the middle between two periods. These signs can last up to three days. Other possibility is that your lymph nodes (the ones close to your armpits) are causing this. That usually means that your immune system is fighting with some infection which can even be common cold. But, if it doesn’t go away in a few days and it’s not period-related breast pain you should see adoctor.

yeah it is very similar it's been going on for quite a while too... it's not as bad as around my period though.

If it’s similar to period-related pain than its definitely caused by fluctuations in your hormones. Like when you’re ovulating or before period hormone levels go up and cause all kinds of things like mood swings, cramps and pains in lower abdomen and breast tenderness and pain. When its lymph nodes there usually are at least signs of cold, like runny nose or cough if not a fever or something. Is it gotten any better?
