I've been experiencing the following symtoms for about 6 days, it didn't kick into gear til about 5 days ago. I have headaches, fatigue, feeling nauseated, tender breasts, white chunky discharge, and cramps like I'm going to start my period. But my period is due in a week/week 1/2. Can people have these symtoms during ovulation? Could I be pregnant? Confused and worried.

Hi,

Symptoms such as breast tenderness, increased amount of discharge or abdominal cramps are caused by hormonal changes and they can definitely happen during your ovulation, as a part of premenstrual syndrome and even as early pregnancy signs. This is why they are not as reliable as a clue to tell what exactly is going on.

This means yes, these might be the signs that you are ovulating, even if you haven’t experienced them before. All the things that affect your body also have an effect on your menstrual cycle, so if you have been stressed, sick or have been taking some medications, this month’s cycle might have changed. But, if your period is late and you had unprotected sex, than there is a chance this might be pregnancy relates, so it’s worth to take a test at this point.
