For a few days now my vagina has been extremely itchy to the point where I pretty much cannot control it and there has been some brown-ish red thick discharge. It started out just being a little bit itchy about 5 days ago so I didn't think much of it and had sex with my partner. The day after I started noticing the weird discharge and the itchiness became unbareable. I checked online and saw the brownness could be old blood, but I thought that only happened right after your period and mine is only a couple days away. And what about the extreme itchiness? The nurse did a pap test and said she didn't know what it was but she sent in the test and I'm just waiting for the results. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Yes I'm a man But it sounds to me like a yeast infection. If you used lube with your partner it may have caused the problem, you may be having a reaction to it. I know alot of women have problems with astroglide. It seems to be notorious for causing women problems.
