Penis bruised, has been for atleast 2 years. When I was 16 or 17 I masturbated too hard and bruised my penis. I thought nothing of it at the time and just kept going (although slightly more carefully) since I live in an isolated area and I was young and home schooled, so I wouldn't be having a chance at sex until I entered university.
I have two questions. 1. My penis has only grown about half an inch tops over the last 2-3 years (currently 6 inches), Is this a result of my penis being bruised? And 2. when do I stop growing down there and can I "get back" any growth I might've lost if the answer to my first question is yes. I'm 19 at the moment.

Hi Turtles,
6" is above average for an adult male. It may continue to grow slightly into your early 20's.
Describe the bruise? It is VERY unlikely for a male to cause permanent injury to his penis through masturbation.
If you've caused damage to the corpus cavernosum, the chambers that fill during erection, it may reduce the length of your erection or cause it to bend severely. In that case you'd need to see a urologist and the length of time since your "injury" can affect the chances of recovery.
Hope it helps.

Well, I'm uncircumcised and the bruising is around the upper half. It doesn't seem to be below the foreskin though. I just figured it was normal bruising and it only stay because I kept masturbating once or twice a day on average.

Do you mean when your foreskin is retracted there is bruising on the head or just when your foreskin is not retracted?

Just seems to be on the foreskin mostly, and a bit below. Doesn't seem to be anything under it. It roughly around where my hand would grip.
I'm 90% sure it's just from doing it too hard and not leaving it alone, I remember doing it too hard the night before (so much that it caused pain (I was pretty stupid)).
If you could recommend some anti-bruising thing I'd give that a shot (and try to resist for a week or so).
If you could also find an answer to my original question, That'd be nice. Can't find an answer anywhere.

Which original question? I answered the size/growth question and we're working on the bruise.
Three is nothing to reduce a 2-3 year old bruise. Bruising is caused by damage to the blood vessels under the skin. They leak, blood comes out, and causes a bruise. Eventually the bruise will disappear.
If you have stretched the skin too far, that would be different. Skin can tear and it will leave a scar or a stretch mark.
Are you sure it is a bruise?

Ah my bad, read it wrong.
Well it looks around where I normally keep my hand, and it's a dark patch. It looks like a bruise to me. I'd assume it's lasted 2-3 purely because of the fact that I do it daily.
Should I just try an anti-bruising cream for a couple weeks? And do I need to leave it alone while using it?

It's not unusual for there to be pigmentation differences in the genitals. Sometimes it is "patchy." Often these aren't noticed until puberty.
You can try anything. Just be careful of what you are using as some can be very irritating to the skin on the penis, especially if it gets under the foreskin.

I'm 90% sure it's an actual bruise as there's pain on occasion, similar to pain from bruises. I'll be careful not to let anything get under the skin.
Thanks for your help ^.^
