Hi my mum had surgery on her right foot 3 days ago and is now suffering from a cold foot - she tells me its like a block of ice, heavy but cold - is this normal? Have anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like your mom may have some kind of vascular insufficiency (impaired circulation), or neuropathy, possible complications from the surgery. You can phone in to the surgeon's office for advice, or set up an appointment.
