Hi, I've recently starting having intimate relations with a new partner. We do use condoms, and I have not noticed anything odd or had symptoms from out previous encounters. This last time though (5 days ago) I was on my period but he didn't seem to mind. I preformed oral sex on him, then we had intercourse. During which I guess I had become too dry and was experiencing a lot of friction so we stopped and later resumed and it happened again soon after with even more friction. I was sore the next day, nothing too bad though. Then after removing a tampon I was too swollen to put another in. I am no longer swollen, nor do I look red and inflamed. The pain is located on my labia, it was hurting the most during intercourse. Now I am hoping It's just a friction burn and will go away, but the pain is worse and stings a great deal when I pee. This morning I examined it with a mirror and I can find two bumps in the inner folds. so far they are only red when they're aggravated by urination I think. Could this be herpes. The internet is pointing me in that direction. If it is herpes should I not have also contracted oral herpes?
