burning, painful bumps on my vagina

Hi Sunny I know you posted this a while back, but this is the only thing I found that sounded similar to what I am going through. I had a Brazilian bikini wax a week and 2 days ago (Sunday). Of course these hurt and leave your skin raw especially the inner part of the vagina. So I though nothing of the small pain. The next day I noticed some discharge and thought I was probably coming on with a yeast infection. By the next day my inner vagina was hurting so bad that I had to look. To my horror and shock I saw some red looking bumps inside my vagina lips on both sides and on the very top. I freaked out and called the clinic for an appointment asap. The nurse practitioner at the PP seemed convinced that I had herpes and did test positive for a yeast infection. She gave me antivirals and medication for the yeast infection and a swab test for herpes. She also tested me for gonorrhea and chlamydia. The next few days were torture both emotionally and physically. At one point I had a very heavy discharge, probably more than a usual yeast infection would have and left me even more scared. Today (Tuesday) I am feeling better, peeing is not a painful and what I see are what looks life open sores or cracked red skin. The don't have my lab results back from the herpes, but did come up negative for the others. Needless to say, not knowing if it is herpes is killing me! My theory is that either I have herpes (AHHHH) or the yeast infection affected the raw skin in my vagina, but I don't know if this is possible! Is this what happened to you? Did you ever see a doctor or got checked for std's? PLEASE!
