I need some help with my mother's health problem. Actually, ever since she has been treated successfully for her breast cancer, she has changed her behavior and the main symptoms of that change are constant and intensive mood changes. Can this point to a borderline personality disorder? How can we help her?

Well, borderline personality disorder is considered to be not so drastic and dramatic disorder, related more to emotional problems, rather then psychotic issues. But, it is a disorder and therefore, might complicate into some other, more problematic conditions. So, you should consider taking her to the doctor. Perhaps it is something a bit more serious than BPD, but it also might be something far less dangerous.
