I am a grandmother of a 14month little boy. His mother is my daughter. She has parted from the babys father but he and his family have the boy and will not let his mother or myself see him. Social servieces are envoled but when i talk to them on the phone they never seem to be very helpful. All comunication has broken down between both families and i have asked the social worker looking after the case if she can help sort out some contact for the baby and his mother and myself and the rest of my family. But she says she is unable to do this. Is this true?
