Numbness and tingling to hands and feet may be due to low calcium levels. This appears to be common after thyroidectomy due to damage or irritation$ to the parathyroid glands. It is often only temporary but is releived with mega doses of calcium and vitamin d. Please note, calcium and any other mineral should NOT be takening within 4 hours before or after thyroid medication or any other medication as they will block thier affect.
If you do take medications, i.e. beta blockers, be sure to take them 4 hours before or after your other medications and minerals. Estrogen also blocks thyroid medications so be sure to take them apart from each other. I personally have found that raising my progesterone and lowering my estrogen relieved hot flashes. Estrogen doesn't have to be high to cause problems, just being dominate will!
Men, keep an eye on your testosterone. Low testosterone will also mimic your old hypothyroid symptoms. Shots work better than cream here.

Oh, and acid reflux appears to be aggravated by the calcium suppliments so you might need to take something to temporarlity help you get past this too. Long term use of antiacids may lead to other problems so if you must go that route you may later need to balance that with HLA.
