Can Birth Control Pills Stop Pregnancy If its Only Been A couple of days...????????

Loading...

Generally speaking, no.

If you stopping taking Birth Control and are pregnant taking birth control pills again will not abort the pregnancy.

There is a pill called the "morning after" pill. Normally these pills are given very soon after having sex. The longer you go the less chance you have of this pill preventing pregnancy.

Hey there,

No, taking birth control pills, the regular ones, like the Chris already said, will definitely not end pregnancy, if you already are pregnant. In fact, I’m afraid that if you are pregnant and you continue taking birth control pills, it might be hard for you to confirm pregnancy with tests, not to mention additional risks you might be exposing yourself to.

SO, if you have confirmed that you are pregnant, you will have to look into other options, if you don’t want to keep the baby. If it’s been more than three days, than it’s late for the morning after pill. I think you should visit planned parenthood to get help from the experts, if you are not sure what to do rather than take risks.
