It sounds like all of you are suffering from the effects of PCP. I was given laced weed with PCP in it, and the effects were terrible, as you describe and more, and lasted for about 2.5 months. I know in major US metropolitan areas PCP is laced into many drugs when dealers have low supplies and/or by small timers. Best thing to do is throw yourself into a job or other activity. My job really helped me during those months, it was after I got home that the worst effects kicked in. It stays for so long because the substance accumulates in your fat cells, so any type of action, even walking, can release trace amounts. Exercise may speed up the detox process, I don't know because I didn't exercise. It might cause a more intense release of the drug, but "better now than later" I suppose.

You’ll find it is all in your mind, just try this, put classic fm on (not too load just a comfortable level), lay on your back (flat on your back), just relax, think about a very nice place, that is very relaxing to you and you only. This will make you dream about a 'nice place' (hopefully). This works for me, as I’m a regular user of cocaine. I help all my mates with any problems, which they may have posasible drugs problems. This is because I read allot about drugs (because also I find it interesting and factual). Please write back if any problems I take a joy out of helping people I will respond as quick as possible!!!! (I will help)

I have been in the same situation but I have found out that what's eating away at me from the inside is the guilt of taking the drug. You just need to find things in life that make you happy and hold on to it

My Husband did cocaine every weekend for a year, 6 years ago. The side affects are very frustrating. He's been to the doctor several times. His mind never shuts off now, it keeps going and going. He takes medication to help so he can sleep. The doctor told both of us that all drugs are mind altering and everyone is different and the side affects for everyone are different. His body shuts down but his mind keeps racing, he has told me that the first time he tried it he never slept for days, and then it just became a regular thing even when he was'nt doing cocaine. He battles this daily.

Drugs and alcohol is damaging to a persons health. I know this for a fact. My mother was a chronic alcoholic. She died at the age of 28 from chirosis of the liver. Alcohol damages the liver. She also did drugs. My grandmothers brother was also a chronic alcoholic. He ended up in a wheel chair. The doctors told him he couldn't drink anymore. He died at age 65. drugs does damage the brain because it affects brain cells. Even marajuana affects brain cells. Alcohol has been linked to alzheimers disease. According to research alot of men with alzheimers at one time were alcoholics. People drink and do drugs because they have problems. Instead of dealing with the problems in a constructive way, they drink and do drugs to cope. It doesn't solve their problems. In the end, when their sober, their problems are still there. They just continue the cycle hoping it goes away

I've quit coke 9 weeks ago after 1.5 years of use when I first experienced modeerate to severe impairments to memory and cognitive functions. During my use, my average intake was 2 grams per week. My memory fubctions have improved but my cognitive functions such as learning, problem solving, abstract thinking are still impaired. In fear that I had permanent brain damage, I had CT scan, EEG test, and brain MRI and they all came out normal. I'm very scared as my processing speed and cognitive fubctions are not healing. Before the impairments I was a innovative, creative, and fast thinker now it's difficult to concentrate and analyze data. Will this get better? Has anyone experienced the same? My job as an accountant is on the line as I cannot perform as efficiently as I used to. Please advise on facts and ecperience

I drink and do coke simultaneously on the weekly and dont experience the shenanigans you talk about. I can understand if you have: psychosis, are an alcoholic, or malnourished, but seriously this is all an adverse side effect of due to a personal issue. this is not a typical happening

seriuosly?
Coke won't be in your system weeks after your dose..however the EFFECTS may.
When you do coke, it MAY damage your brain when it's in your body and the effects may linger for a while after (maybe even permanent).
So even if it's not coke, the effects you feel are the after effects of the CHANGES to your brain + brain chemistry.

Stop defending coke by saying it's effect is no different from watching too much TV. You're comparing a PHYSICAL, harmful drug to something that's merely psychological (watching TV).

I think the effects you are talking about are just from the highly addictive nature of cocaine it makes you crave more. Since it was your first time taking it you are not inclined to do more but it does have a grip on you from getting high. The disorientation lasts a while depending how much you where taking and can be down to ill health I think. I have experienced this for sometime I did take alot when I was young and have had real difficulty with dizziness and restlessness but if you work at the basics things get better. I know dopamine comes from carbs and seratonin comes from protein so it can be rehabilitated along with good fitness.

Drugs damage the brain, my advice is stay away from drugs for good because drugs cause chemical imbalances, and changes the way you think n also you need sleep to heal your brain without sleep it won't heal. Take vitamins n some kind of brain pills that help serotonin levels that will help trust me good luck n god be with you!:)

Plenty of Vitamins such as: Fish oils, B Vitamins, and Brain Function Vitamins helped me.  As well as eating healthy such as salmon patties.  Each day I felt better. I continued to do so until symptoms were relieved. I even extended my routine for a while to make sure I fully recovered.  My symptoms finally have disappeared and happened over night.
