The chances are less, because you will be taking a hormonal bill to bring on the shedding of your uterus. BUT that been said, all you need to get pregnant, is part of 1 ovary! A period just means that your egg that month has not been fertilized - even though more and more women are still getting lighter periods well into their 2nd trimester. If you are looking to get pregnant, wait till your periods have become regular. And DEFINITELY check with your doctor about the side effects of the pills you are taking. If you have to take them everyday, that usually means that it takes 1 or 2 days to go out of your system. BUT depending on the strength of the pill ESPECIALLY with hormonal medicine. You really need to be careful that this is out of your system before getting pregnant. If you don't want to get pregnant, take precautions. I'm never an advocate for too many pills, especially if you are taking something to start a natural process, and then take the BCP to stop the natural process - know what I mean. So just be careful and have your partner use protection ALWAYS! Good luck and health
