a friend of the family became pregnant after being on full menopause
for several years. I'm thinking that maybe it was not menopause maybe she had a condition that resembled menopause and caused her to stop her periods. I just know she had not had her period for years then became pregnant which was really strange

No you cannot because HRT includes a Progestin which prevents the lining of the uterus to build up (that's why you have no periods after menopause and hrt) so while it might be possible that you might actually ovulate once or twice in your early menopause, the egg would not have anywhere to implant and thrive, so it would just be shed along with other cells. you will notice you will not have regular discharge as you did when you had menstrual cycles, vaginal tissues dry up. the good thing is you don't have to worry about contraception if you've not had periods for at least 12 consecutive months!

Hi I am nearly 50 years old I do not look it . I started having the menerpause- at the age of 48 and a half years. I had a couple of hot flushers last year and get hot in the morming when I wake up. Can not take any HRT treatment as have cancer in my family breast.cancer.
I am lucky that I have not suffered with the memerpause
as much as my mum did.

Other countries offer hope to women who have miscarried. Amman in Jodan provide help with this. In the UK women are expected to miscarry at least three times before tests for problems are carried out. This happened with a friend of mine and she suffered all the bereavement that goes this.
She is now pregnant after seeking medical help in Jordan. The procedure is a simple injection to support the cervix, sorry I dont know the medical terms and has no side effect on the mother or baby. It is not expensive either.

Amazing! What a wonderful gift of love to your daughter. You must not have gone through complete menopause, I guess, to have ovulated. I'm 51 and would love to get pregnant.

How do we know when we have completed going through menopause?  I'm 51 and suffer from constant hot flashes. Is that indicative of still going through menopause?  I haven't had a period in a year.  I want a baby.  What are the chances of me getting pregnant?  How would I know when I'm ovulating?  And, do older woman have a risker pregnancy?  Are we at higher risks of miscarriage?  How can we prevent that?  Sorry for all the question, but I'm serious about having a healthy pregnancy and baby.
