Wow !! So it is possible, I've had no period for over three years, I'm almost 51, I'm feeling all the symptoms of being pregnant. The last time I felt these symptoms, my MD did all the tests which came out negative and she said it would be impossible for me to get pregnant. I have two grown children, so I know what being pregnant feels like. I have an appointment with my MD. Thanks for sharing your miracles, GOD Bless!!

I have a 12 & 6 year old and am 39. My periods started at 14 and my last proper period was 6 years ago, but I was irregular n had hot flushes ect for a couple of years before my 6 year olds conception. I still very occassionally say 2 or 3 times a year get a smear of blood in my knickers and pains every couple of months. When our 6 year old was conceived we only had sex 1 or 2 times in the year leading up to it. Due to issues caused by. My ex dad to my 12 year old i found intamitcy hard. My boyfriend, bio-dad to 6 year old and beloved proper dad to my 12 year old had a wake up call n have rekindled our relationship. I now have all my pregnancy symptoms - i.e. with my 12 y o boy -Heartburn with wine, tired, my son has asd n adhd, I've got adhd too, craving cheese, craving fish n chips, more dizzy blonde then normal, can't eat a lot, vomited b 4, ect with my 6 year old nosebleeds, only other time was When I banged my nose in the baths when diving from the top board. Am I being silly and grasping at straws. Or could I possibly b pregnant. I don't want to hope :-)

A family member of mine thought she had gone thru menopause because she hadn't had a period for over a yr, but then she did. she is ovr 50 and still gets them 'occasionally'. So, yeah, it happens. Made me feel better, too, cause I aint getting younger and I'm still single. Thanx for all the posts about IVF and 'Its still possible'. I would feel so worthless and hopeless if I entered menopause w/out children. Now at least there's some hope.

Honey are you crazy? You have just waited toooooo long to have a baby do you know I old you will be as the child grows up? You'll be the oldest parent at the PTA everyone will think you're the child s grandmother. That's not fair to the child because you weren't ready to have children at a reasonable age. You may not live to see any grandchildren and that child will bear the burden of taking care of you at a young age. FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!! IT'S TOOOOOO LATE!!!!!!

Sorry to ask but how old were you when you got pregnanat? I am premenopause and am only 44 we have been trying for another child for a year with no luck and the doctors have told me I am premenopause and no chance of me having a baby!! That was that no advise or anything. My periods are about every 3 months and this last one has lasted the most I have ever had 10 days!. We still want to add to our family so any advise would be great!

Yes you can still become pregnant my mother got pregnan at age 57 after no period for 8 years it is rare but it can happen

For those of you who say you cant get pregnant after menopause you are wrong. I am 47 had my tubes clamped 9 years ago haven't had a period in 7 years and got pregnant naturally.
