this may be a coincident but my wife was given medication for high blood presure after taking these pills she started with very severe palputations bad enough for her to be rushed staight to the hospital from the surgery after 5 emergency admissions in 3 weeks aproximately 11 weeks on she was told by her gp she had an enlargement of the heart she still has not recived any treatment for this problem she still has the palputations and is exsteamly worried

The quick answer is yes, some medications can cause an enlarged heart.
But, so can MANY other things, such as high blood pressure, arrhythmia's (palpations), infections, thyroid problems. There is a very long list.
Push the cardiologist for an answer to your questions and concerns.
