So THAT'S interesting. I am peri- menopausal. I have been and am going through a constant heavy bleed now since August. I hav tried several HRTs with no stop on the bleed.

Now the Gyn has strongly suggested getting a MIRENA IUD, but not before an ultrasound which I will be having tomorrow. This is to check for fibroids or cysts. 

Because nothing else is working....what are the odds this will????
