Can your hymen brake afte having children. I do not believe my hymen broke until recently when I had sex I bled for the entire day which scared me really bad. I was not a virgin when this happened but upon losing my virginity this never happened. Is it too late or did it happen in my 40's.

We all spend our time pushing our beliefs on others which were brought about by others that we believe to know the truth. Let me give you two nuggets before I leave you. The statement “When I had sex for the first time I had no discomfort, no pain bleeding, cramping or anything” is a normal reaction anything else you need to worry about there is a problem. Do you know that even after you had a virginal birth delivery the hymen is still present? The hymen is a tissue that covers and protects the place of insertion and after you have had your fun it goes back to performing its job of protecting that area.

Talk to your doctor or license nurse they must protect your wishes as well as what you talked about and provide you with the truth in all situations.

It is extremely doubtful that your hymen would still be in place after giving childbirth.

The hymen would almost certainly be ruptured by penetration, let alone eventual childbirth.

You'll want to be examined and consult a doctor if you're experiencing repeated bleeding.
