I have BPH and the worst symptoms are urgent need to urinate and then very slow low volume stream (it gets stronger then tapers back off and continues) and a little retention. Was in Europe visiting a friend and was told that his Dr had him using a Fr18 catheter once a week and he said it has made a major difference. He says it opens the urethra. He does want to take Flomax and neither do I. Has anyone else heard of this treatment. He says his flow is now a lot better and very little retention.
