Hi, my friend's daughter is 14 years old and she gets bronchitis several times per year. When winter comes she is spending more time with doctors than with her friends in the school. I don't know much about this disorder so I would like to know something more about it and is that possible that it can't be cured.

Hi, bronchitis is disease of modern time. Air is polluted, people are living in spaces with air conditioners which are drying air, and there are so many agents in the air which irritate lung's mucosa. Mucosa which is irritated is much more vulnerable on viruses and bacteria and good soil for developing bronchitis. Unfortunately specific cure for bronchitis does not exist and all we can do is to try to avoid cigarette smoke and other agents which are irritating our lungs.
